Driving directions
From Deer Lake Airport :
- take a right at the Trans Canada Highway when exiting the airport
- drive ½ km and turn right again on Route 430 North ( Viking Trail )
- drive 73 km to Rocky Harbour, take the second entrance to the village, turn left at the water, and the Jolly Moose will be on the right hand side of the road at 24A.
From St. John's :
- drive west until you reach Deer Lake
- turn right onto Route 430 ( Viking Trail )
- follow directions as above
From Port aux Basques ferry terminal :
- drive east to Deer Lake
- turn right to the ramp for Route 430 ( Viking Trail )
- follow directions as above
